Project Overview
The client supplied a sample gear for measurement, as no technical drawing was available. From this, Lamond & Murray produced a detailed engineering drawing to guide the manufacturing process.
The job included:
- Turning a cast iron blank with an impressive 1820mm outside diameter
- Gear cutting 180 teeth at 10 MOD, replicating the original geometry to exact specifications
- Full dimensional inspection and validation throughout production
